‘Rest and Study’ venue opens in NZ

Bird Song Park library

Bird Song Park, located at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, is open to Christian Scientists everywhere specifically for rest and study. All sincere students of Christian Science are welcome. The Bible, Christian Science textbook and other study materials are available.

This garden study offers a library, restroom facilities, and overnight accommodation. A private entrance through the garden leads to the study area which is also accessible from the main entrance of the home. There is no food or cooking in the guest area. However, private arrangements for meals, or recommendations to local restaurants, are available. Of course, smoking, vaping, drugs or alcohol are no part of the Bird Song Park experience.

Bird Song Park is not a hotel, a rest home, or a long term stay facility. Overnight visits are limited to two nights. This is simply a venue for guests who require a quiet, private, beautiful place for study and healing through Christian Science. Just as in our Reading Rooms, daytime visits are free. Overnight stays are by donation. (Details are available upon request.) Visitors to Bird Song Park are asked for the name of their Christian Science practitioner.

You can reach Bird Song Park by car, shuttle, bus, or by ferry from Viaduct Harbour.

We hope your visit to Bird Song Park will enrich your spiritual journey.

The Park is located at 39 Island View Drive, Gulf Harbour. To make a booking, please be in touch with Rosalinda Johnson by email at rwjjp@live.com or phone her on +64 21 137 0681
