Upcoming Talk about Christian Science

On Thursday 16 October at 7:30pm, the Christchurch church will host a public talk about Christian Science by Deborah Packer, CS. The talk will be at the church on 66 Carlton Mill Road.

Themed “The Love that heals”, this talk explores love as more than sentiment — as divine Love, a spiritual law with the power to heal.

Drawing from her father’s transformational healing and teachings from Christian Science, Packer will explore the idea that divine Love is the true nature of God.

Packer will share passages from the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy (the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science), which unfold the healing rules and laws of divine Love. Through accounts and practical examples, she’ll explain how prayer rooted in this love can reveal truth, dissolve fear, and restore harmony in any situation.

Packer is a Christian Science practitioner who lives near Canberra, ACT.

Year-round, you are invited to attend our Sunday church services and Sunday School each week at 10am. Every Wednesday at 7pm, you are also welcome to our testimony meeting for midweek healing inspiration.
